The S&A Academy

The S&A Academy provide apprenticeships, funded and commercial training via 4 academies - Digital & Tech, Science & Laboratory, Business & Leadership, Engineering and Sustainability. Part of The S&A Group, The S&A Academy was established to provide high quality industry relevant training, apprenticeships and qualifications to create and develop professional careers in technology, science, business and engineering. The Academy has industry leading achievement rates (over 90%), 100% pass rates and an official Ofsted ‘Good’ provider inspection from Q4/2024.

With strong links to leading businesses, technology and scientific research companies, the Academy differentiates itself from competitors though providing regular specialist industry relevant training modules, certifications and qualifications, from leading employers, thought leaders and academics.

We offer a high level of 'bespoke' configuration in our apprenticeship delivery, to ensure learners receive training in the specific technologies, techniques, software and equipment used in their workplace. Our UK Government funded apprenticeships can be delivered across the whole of the UK, including Wales, and are always designed to suit employers and learners preferred methods. We offer fully online/remote, on site and classroom-based programmes, including hybrid (mixed mode) delivery models.

Our deeply technical programmes, e.g. software developer, can be delivered through a 3-month FT learning, front loaded model, or via weekly, monthly or traditiaonl ‘block release’. Thus, suiting employers who required a certain level of skills, before embedding individuals into their full time workplace.

In addition to apprenticeships and government funded training, we offer a wide variety of bootcamps and commercial training services, including consulting to build internal organisational L&D programmes or help optimise levy funds, to clients across the globe. We often build, and deliver, training programmes for client technologies and services, which can then be delivered internally, or to partners and clients.
