Oxford Brookes University

About
Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes University is a registered provider of higher and degree apprenticeships, offering programmes designed to help employers address skills gaps and support staff development while employees work towards nationally recognised qualifications. Through its UK Partnerships and Apprenticeships team, the university works closely with employers from initial enquiry, funding and contracting through to enrolment and ongoing programme delivery. Oxford Brookes delivers a range of higher and degree apprenticeships directly, and in collaboration with Associate College Partners, in areas such as architecture, healthcare, management, real estate and teaching, with further standards in development. Apprentices typically study part time alongside their employment, combining on‑the‑job learning with off‑the‑job training delivered via a blend of on‑campus teaching and online learning. The university supports apprentices with academic advisers, mentors and dedicated coordinators, and holds regular tripartite progress meetings with employers and apprentices. Apprenticeship provision is overseen within the university’s quality framework and is subject to Education and Skills Funding Agency requirements and Ofsted inspection, aligning apprenticeship delivery with the standards expected of other Oxford Brookes academic programmes.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
