About
Sparsholt College Hampshire
Sparsholt College Hampshire is a land-based further and higher education provider offering a wide range of apprenticeship and technical training options for employers and individuals. Through its Sparsholt campus and sister campus Andover College, the organisation delivers apprenticeships across more than 40 industries, with particular strength in agriculture, animal and zoo management, equine, arboriculture, forestry and woodland management, game and wildlife, horticulture, conservation, butchery, business‑digital, safeguarding and veterinary nursing. Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with day-release or work-based study at college, leading to nationally recognised qualifications at levels from intermediate through higher apprenticeships, with structured off‑the‑job learning and end‑point assessment. Sparsholt also provides higher apprenticeships in areas such as agriculture, veterinary nursing science and wildlife ecology and conservation, alongside a broad curriculum of full‑time, part‑time, distance learning, T Level and university-level programmes. Dedicated apprenticeship and careers teams support recruitment, progression and careers planning for both apprentices and employers, complemented by employer engagement, industry‑standard facilities and specialist land-based resources on its Hampshire campuses.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
