Solihull College & University Centre

About
Solihull College & University Centre
Solihull College & University Centre offers a comprehensive apprenticeship provision designed to meet the needs of local employers and learners across Warwickshire and the West Midlands. Apprenticeships are available on both full-time and part-time bases, enabling apprentices to earn a wage while gaining job-specific skills and knowledge in their chosen profession. Programmes are developed with input from employers to provide structured training, clear targets and regular progress checks, with off-the-job learning typically delivered on a day-release basis at the College. Apprenticeships normally take between one and four years to complete, depending on the level and sector. The College positions apprenticeships as a route into higher-level study, further apprenticeships or career progression within employment. Alongside apprenticeships, Solihull College & University Centre delivers a broad offer including 16–19 full-time vocational courses, T Levels, university level qualifications at its University Centre, and extensive adult and professional programmes, plus online and flexible learning options. The College invests in industry-standard facilities, such as advanced labs, specialist engineering and aviation resources, and upgraded motor vehicle workshops, to support skills development aligned to regional workforce needs.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
