About
Red Kite Learning Trust
Red Kite Learning Trust is a multi-academy trust of 16 schools across North and West Yorkshire, educating more than 10,000 children and young people from nursery to sixth form. Alongside running its family of schools, the Trust delivers extensive training and professional development for the education workforce through its Red Kite Education arm. This includes training and development opportunities from initial teacher training through to school and trust leadership, and across all phases from early years to post-16. Red Kite Learning Trust leads Red Kite Teacher Training, an Ofsted Outstanding provider of school‑based teacher training working with schools across the region and the University of Leeds to prepare new teachers who are confident in the classroom and in demand with employers. The Trust also leads the Red Kite Teaching School Hub, one of the Department for Education’s 87 designated centres for teacher development, offering Early Career Framework induction, Appropriate Body services and a full suite of National Professional Qualifications. Through the Red Kite Alliance, a partnership of schools and educational organisations, and the Red Kite Connect network, the Trust supports collaboration, knowledge sharing and access to high-quality professional learning across the region.

Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
