Northampton College is a further education college offering a wide range of vocational, technical and academic programmes alongside extensive apprenticeship provision. The College positions education as developing skills, confidence and mindset for work and life, with a strong focus on technical, personal and employability skills supported by industry links and a forward‑looking curriculum. Apprenticeships are a core part of its offer: Northampton College delivers apprenticeship standards from Level 2 to Level 5 across key sectors, and reports supporting over 400 apprentices in more than 350 local businesses in the last academic year. Programmes are designed with employer input so that apprentices can apply learning immediately in the workplace, helping organisations address skills gaps and develop talent pipelines. For employers, the College provides a dedicated apprenticeship recruitment service including training needs reviews, matching candidates from its student database and free vacancy advertising. Beyond apprenticeships, it offers full‑time study programmes for school leavers (including technical and practical courses, T Levels and A Levels via NC6), university‑level courses, adult learning, distance learning and skills development in maths, English and digital skills.
