Operating since 2006, the centre offers a range of courses from short and bespoke/commercial programmes to apprenticeships and NVQs. Apprenticeship and NVQ pathways include trades such as floorlaying, groundworking, site carpentry and brickwork at Level 2, alongside Level 2 NVQs delivered via On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) or Experienced Worker Practical Assessment (EWPA), and Level 3 unit credit awards and certificates accredited with OCNWMR. As a preferred supplier to the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) and approved by ELCAS, the centre also supports service leavers using enhanced learning credits. Training is delivered by qualified tutors and assessors with substantial industry experience, with an emphasis on practical skills, employability and progression to roles in the construction sector or self-employment. The centre is located just off Junction 7 of the M62, providing convenient access for learners and employers.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
