Croydon College

Croydon College is a further and higher education provider offering a wide range of apprenticeship and vocational training options alongside full-time and adult courses. Its apprenticeship provision enables learners to earn while they learn, gain hands-on experience with industry professionals and develop core skills such as communication, problem-solving and teamwork. Apprentices are supported through a Talent Pool application route, screening for entry requirements and interviews with Learning Coaches who provide tailored information, advice and guidance, including discussion of current vacancies and progression routes. Apprenticeships are available across engineering, carpentry, construction, plumbing, property maintenance, business, accounting, customer service, teaching assistant roles, early years and adult care, among other disciplines, with programmes delivered from Level 2 to higher levels and typically lasting 12–48 months depending on the standard. For employers, Croydon College offers a dedicated Apprenticeship Team that helps identify workforce needs, match suitable candidates, and advise on funding, levy use and incentives, positioning apprenticeships as a way to build future talent and upskill existing staff. In addition to apprenticeships, the college offers 16–18 study programmes, adult learning, higher education through its University Centre, and online courses, with a strong focus on employment-focused curricula and local workforce development. Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
