About
The London College of Beauty Therapy
The London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) is a specialist further education provider focused on beauty therapy, hairdressing and make‑up training. Founded in 1995, it offers industry‑aligned vocational programmes designed to meet the changing needs of employers in the beauty, hair and make‑up sectors. LCBT delivers a range of government‑funded one‑year Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas that provide the essential qualifications needed to start a career as a beauty therapist, hairdresser or make‑up artist, alongside one‑day short courses in areas such as lash enhancement and spray tanning for those looking to expand existing skills. The college also offers Level 4 advanced courses aimed at industry professionals who want to upskill. Courses are developed in collaboration with leading brands to support progression into roles across salons, spas, hotels, cruise ships, TV and film and beauty retail. Teaching is led by experienced tutors with extensive industry backgrounds, and learners benefit from hands‑on training at LCBT’s central London campus in Shoreditch, which the college moved into in spring 2025.(lcbt.co.uk)
