Positive Achievement is a specialist hairdressing training prime provider focused exclusively on hairdressing and barbering apprenticeships. Run by experienced hairdressers for hairdressers and barbers, the organisation works in partnership with training providers and employer-providers across the hairdressing industry to deliver high-quality apprenticeship programmes. Operating from 25 sites across England, Positive Achievement provides a blend of face-to-face visits, online support and telephone guidance, delivered by teams that include experienced hairdressers, teachers, assessors and internal quality assurers. The provider has developed its own cloud-based hairdressing training software to manage relationships and communication between the prime provider, partner training providers, employers and apprentices. This platform gives each stakeholder appropriate access to monitor progress, record development and support the delivery of apprenticeship standards. Positive Achievement has also designed non-invasive working practices aligned to current funding rules, ensuring that its contribution complements the localised delivery of partner providers while adding substantive value to apprenticeship programmes in the hairdressing and barbering sector.
