There are four types of training provider:
A National Provider is a training provider that is able to offer apprenticeship training in any location across England. Some national providers might also offer training in the devolved nations, i.e. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
An FE college is a state-funded provider that can offer a broad range of training options in a particular location to a range of employers.
A Specialist Provider is a training provider that is not state-funded and tends to offer training in specialist sectors or locations.
Universities offer training for Degree Apprenticeships or Higher Apprenticeships, sometimes running specialist courses for apprentices on a particular standard.
Hospice in the Weald/ WE:Train Training Centre, delivers high quality Health & Social Care vocational qualifications and End of Life & Dementia training in a professional, relevant, credible and accessible way. We work in close partnership with learners and employers, in West Kent and East Sussex, supporting them achieve their potential.
Since becoming an accredited assessment centre, WE:Train Assessors and Trainers supported over 300 learners, guiding them through their qualifications, in the work place along with classroom sessions.
All our Assessors and Trainers have hands on Health & Social Care experience, hold H&SC qualifications up to Level 5, teaching and/or A1 Assessor and Internal Verifier/ Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
