About
Edinburgh Napier University
Edinburgh Napier University is a Scottish higher education institution that delivers a substantial portfolio of Graduate Apprenticeships designed for individuals who want to gain an honours degree while in paid employment. Its Graduate Apprenticeships are offered in disciplines such as business management, civil engineering, construction and the built environment, engineering design and manufacture, cybersecurity, data science and software development, primarily through the School of Computing, the Business School and the School of Engineering and the Built Environment. These programmes are fully funded through the Scottish Funding Council and Student Awards Agency Scotland, with no tuition costs for either apprentices or employers, and are structured so that apprentices typically spend around 80% of their time at work and 20% at university, applying learning directly in the workplace. Edinburgh Napier positions itself as one of the largest providers of Graduate Apprenticeships and a market leader in work‑based learning in Scotland, working with employers from micro‑SMEs to multinationals to attract, develop and retain talent. Apprentices receive access to university facilities, mentoring and personalised work‑based learning projects that count towards their degree while meeting business needs, and employers can use the programmes both to recruit new staff and upskill existing employees.(napier.ac.uk)
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
